They make jumbled messes of art, charge a high price for their prints, and don't tell you the run.

Fair enough. Aren't they German? You would have thought they would be more efficient.

Run of 50. Seems to have a decent amount of purposeful hand finishing. And I bet it doesn't look quite so jumbled when seen in person. Though their style is lots of overlapping pieces.

Nope, German Spaniards so they're very efficient at being lazy.

Yep, I thought it might be a bit "Phlegmy" when I first saw it, but I've been trying to work out what is going on in the image for the last five minutes!

Their work is amazing in person and if you have a chance to see one of their murals do it.

Didn't hesitate to buy this.

Codeblue - do you have any examples of previous editions not being announced (and in your opinion) priced too high?

For those new to them spend a few minutes on their site and I wager you'll be impressed:

Do they have any previous editions? There doesn't seem to be any info about the run size for this one on the purchasing site linked, and for what appears to be their first print, the price is pretty high. But, but, but it's hand finished!

Edit: fudge, my vision is going, I now see the run of 50 in tiny ass font.

It's an edition if 50.

I searched for their work a few months ago and couldn't find anything, that's why I was wondering if you knew of a previous one out there somewhere.

My brain's telling me that this isn't their first print release but I can't find anything to corroborate that. So overall that last sentence is 100% useless.

How and Nosm are represented by Simjee Textor LLC, who also represent Judith Supine. According to Naheed Simjee, this is How and Nosm's first print. $350 seems reasonable given the size of the edition (50), the print dimensions (24 x 24), and the hand finishing.

Update: Just bought one.

I think the image would look better in a larger format. Might see the detail better. If it was $250 I'd probably buy it. Only similarity to Supine is a hefty price tag.
