had a big day for sketches. Picked up a couple from Donato Giancola and fulfilled a big chunk of a childhood ambition to own the original art for a magic card.

A nice prelim for a magic the gathering card that i just could not resist, Celestine Reef

Don't feel like it's a sketch hah, but that's what he called it. Jonah Hex by Tony Moore (original artist for The Walking Dead).

My most prized possession.. I'll never forget the moment I saw this pop out behind the 2001.

MD, if you're into MGC art look into Karla Ortiz. She's awesome and outside of gallery work she illustrates MGC cards. She'll be in the project room at Thinkspace for the Gilded Age show (Ruas, Esao, Horkey). Here are two drawings of hers I have to give you an idea of her work.

*I know these aren't sketches. Just posting to show MD!

Looks fantastic. Happy that she'll be in the gallery at the same time as Gilded Age so I can check it out. :pint:

^^ Great looking stuff. I know how you got the Ruas, but how do you end up with "Study of" by these artists? Purchasing stuff from them and it just happens to come included, or do they sell studies on their site and I just never see them in time?
