Was going thru my collection the other day because I couldn't find a print that I sold. Took hours. But I pulled a bunch of old moss movie posters out in the process and it reminded me how great his stuff is and still holds up. Really miss seeing new Olly Moss movie prints. Been a long while since we've had one.

The funny thing is, he never really seemed to rate himself as an artist or designer. I remember at ThoughtBubble one year, there was a long queue at his stall, with people asking him for sketches and remarks. He looked absolutely petrified—so scared that he’d ruin the prints.

It was not long after Firewatch came out, and I asked for a little sketch related to that. I figured I’d go for something he was currently invested in. It turned out amazing, even though it was just a quick two-minute sketch.

He just seems like a genuinely nice guy. And yeah, I agree—it’s a little sad not to see him releasing much new work these days. But if he’s doing what he loves, then that’s kinda cool too.

Expressobeans was more fun back then too.

What happened to this hobby? Did Facebook ruin it?

or was it Crypto?

Oversaturation, we were spoiled and now its all become too ubiquitous to register as special, Facebook private commissions have definitely contributed, maybe a lot more than you think, i would wager the amount produced is equal to a lot of gallery releases these days
