Hardware wallet which means you need to physically confirm transactions out of your wallet on the device itself. Which means jack fudge if you sign to give someone else permission to do stuff.

scammers prey on peoples emotions. same reason a lot of places get hacked. social engineering is a thing. easy enough to click on a link and not think sometimes.

i've done it myself. second day at a new job. thought it was an email from HR. nothing happened but they took my laptop, purged it and gave me a new one.
