It is green, pic came out dark. Red pops like crazy next to green.ErocAfellar wrote:the black looks good with the red pinstripe. i would have probably gone with green but the red wouldn't pop. i like it d-read
Great piece - really like the color combos.
Just picked this up yesterday. My 2nd Further Frames piece! It's a poster I was hired to make in 2013 for the first annual Stanley Film Festival. It ended up winning a design award in Communication Arts Magazine and was kind of my first professional achievement post-college. The skull frame was PERFECT and matches the darker copper color in the popcorn-skulls.
Big thanks to Amber, Rory, Corey, and Amber's mother (whose name escapes me)! What a team! Also, if you haven't already, head down there to check out their framed stained glass exhibit and ask Corey to mess with the color remotes. It's beautiful.

Very cool all around.

I love Linda and Amber! Same ages as my girls (Mrs. FD & #1 kid) and close knit. And watching them work is magic. They ARE the Angels! (The boys are alright too.)peacedog wrote:Linda is Amber's mom, some 30+ years of framing experience. She and her husband ran the shop where I cut my framing teeth (and fingers).
Next time you can use the remotes yourself!
