So this was a pretty big undertaking. My uncle had given me these two antique frames, without any information about them. I fell in love with them right away, but I’ve never taken on anything like this before. I realize now, looking back at the experience (actually, I realized about halfway through that I probably should’ve just left one of them intact because it looked so damn cool, they both look damn cool and would’ve gone right along with Aaron’s work). Anyway, I thought by taking the two of them fully apart that I could piece together one whole one that looked. Through a lot of trial and error (I learned a lot about antique frames) I actually was able to put together two, this one and one the other that I used for a picture for my wife for Valentine’s Day. Anyway, this is one of my favorite frame-ups that I’ve ever done, I hope you guys like it as much as I do.

Regardless of whether you should have disassembled them or not, that looks awesome and came out great! Very nicely done :pint:

The same pictureframes.com reclaimed wood style + museum glass I'd used for Midwestern Heart (the two prints hang on the same wall, now).
