Cool Radiohead frame job. I would've used a bright yellow mat instead of the red. But seeing as they didn't have any, the red is a good choice. I wouldn't change anything.

i have been waiting for someone to frame john's radiohead poster, very nice choice on the matt's, i love the idea of the matt's loosely following the prints outline, unlike others i would be on the fence about the black mouldings, having said that i am not sure what other color to use, maybe a dark gloosy blue, anyways congrats and well done
art is the only justification for pain :)

Well I am glad to hear that so many of you approve of it! When I had initially thought of the idea, and the framer called me a few days later to show me a "test," I got really exicted. For whatever reason, when I picked it up, I thought there was something a little bit wrong, but couldn't pinpoint it. But those thoughts have now faded and I am growing to love the colors, and everyone else's appreciation of it is certainly making me look at it a little less critically. Thanks again guys.

I love that work. 4-ply white bottom mat, 6-ply black-with-white-core top mat?

I'm not sure what ply they are.. i never really noticed when i cut them.
I actually started framing a malleus poster when i'd had a few beers and made a rather large miscalculation. I ended up cutting a white inner mat to fit. The outer is a black mat on a white with black core (think that makes sense).. The funny thing is... this is the second i've started to frame up a malleus whilst being half cut and something else has ended up in there instead.

Dude, that last frame job is complete garbage. ;)

this is a fun thread, too, except when you have a slow computer like me. Then it's still fun, just less so. And you don't even have to read!

Some stuff at my brothers new coop space. I'm providing him with posters I have to make his walls come "alive". He has a orange color scheme vibe to his rooms so here's some stuff I helped put up.

Oh and for the record before someone says anything, I should've matted some of the prints here I know but at these moments I didn't know any better. Oh well, they still look good. Yeah and be warned, crappy camera quality.

gfraser, I like the Pearl Jam with two mattes. Maybe a darker/more muted red would be more pleasing to your eye. The undermatte is a really bright red and that is the only thing I'm not excited about. The Jermaines and Vanilla Girl look really nice!
