Hey friends, so perhaps a lot of you are familiar with this genre from some more pop-culture related cross overs *cough* Jed Henry & Dave Bull *cough* - https://shop.ukiyoeheroes.com/collections/giclee-prints
What I'm struggling with is, whenever i put an actual piece behind glass you instantly loose the vitality, and texture of the piece making it look simply like one of the prints above, does anyone have any ways the prefer to display prints that aren't kept behind a pane of glass?
Displaying or framing Ukiyo-e artwork
Have you tried high quality anti-reflective glass? This is even better than Museum glass but much less expensive. We have the framed butterfly sample in our showroom. It is fun because people always think there is no glass and try to touch the butterfly. Non-glare which is just etched glass is no where near as good.
