Recently I've been thinking of hanging a framed print on a door that's rarely used (and always open). I was wondering if anyone here has done that. Running out of wall space but I just received a print that I really want to frame up for display.

Have you considered the ceiling?

We have a door in our home that is a spare bedroom, hardly ever used. Since it's across from the bathroom we decided to do the same thing. It actually works really well and has been hanging there for quite a few years. I couldn't remember how I did it so I just went and checked.

The back is wired across with plastic coated wire like any normal frame job, then in the back we have it hanging by two points with hooks similar to these..

It also helps to put a couple rubber bumpers on the back/bottom to keep it somewhat in place. Also since the top is hanging by hooks and sticks out slightly, they push out the bottom just a little to even it out. I'm spoiled I used to work at a frame shop and swiped a bunch of these..

anyway, good luck! Don't forget to post pics :D

Got a bit too excited to grab a shot before I left my office, shot the pages in reverse order. Will be hanging up tomorrow.

Framed by ROOQ in Chelsea.

Superman For All Seasons #2, Page 38-39 by Tim Sale.

This is the set hanging up for a little over a year now, plan to get a cover I have done soon too.

This arrived over the weekend courtesy of Framing Devil. The close up is a little blurry.

It was bigger than I expected...42 x 24 framed. It was done with 1/4 of a silk thread.
