Thanks! He's one of my favorites - I've got an AP of The World Touring Letter framed up at my house it's the one piece out of all of the ones on the walls that gets the most comments from visitors.ygolohcysp wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 10:56 pmLove that parla, looks awesomeiwokeinrelief wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 2:48 pmCouple things I picked up during my lunch break, waiting to get hung up in my office:

I don’t remember if I ever shared these back when I had them framed, but I finally got them up on the wall here at my new office:

Recently acquired a JR Hold Up print, the extremely large one, and even though it has deckled edges, I chose not to float it. Instead I used three, 8-ply mats with a custom frame. As can be seen in the photos, there is a little glare on the glass. Because of the size, I couldn’t spring for museum glass, and went with conservation clear, which is almost as good. Even so, this is by far the most expensive frame job I’ve had done. And no regrets. This is a large, powerful piece of art and makes a heck of a statement.
respect for not automatically floating deckled edges sometimes it isn't necessary
