60+20%, not 80%Diabolos80 wrote:Just a heads up: Michael's is doing 80% off custom framing. Which is actually like 30% off for real, but a good deal for smaller strangely sized stuff you just want to get on the wall. Please don't hurt me cuz I mentioned Michael's...
I don't disagree though, I've done some smaller things with Michaels and they've done a fine job. Just depends on who works at your local store.

The lady at my Michael's is fantastic. She used to work at a gallery so she knows her stuff. Aaand she's super salty cuz now she works at Michael's. Considering 60+20% is their pretty standard deal, and 80% might encourage someone to stop by... I disagree. But thanks.UrsusMorris wrote:That's what we call "splittin hairs"cmatthews11 wrote:60+20%, not 80%Diabolos80 wrote:Just a heads up: Michael's is doing 80% off custom framing. Just goin off basic math. But as Diabolos already stated, it's more like 30%, if that. Those "deals" are mind tricks, everyone knows that. That bein said, i've used them 3 times so far, no problems.cmatthews11 wrote:Considering 60+20% is their pretty standard deal, and 80% might encourage someone to stop by... I disagree. But yes, 60% + 20% = "%80". Better?
