First round ‘O client work folks! Well, all official & legitimate like anyways… (Sorry Parmy but you know what I mean mate & when you gonna swoop over for a sticky beak?)

And what a way to start, first real original ‘60s poster I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working on… Seen them before too, of course but not as up close & personal like this, I could touch it! Kinda scared that now I got a taste, I’ll be needing more of it… Makes you wonder just how many of these treasures are out there too, just lying under peoples beds, tucked away in their closets on the other side of the world, let them out & be free people!

The Butterfield Blues Band, San Francisco 1968. Artwork by Jack Hatfield & Louis Sozzi, printed by Tea Lautrec Litho.

One of the first jobs that came in was this lovely James Jean pair of tattoo flash art prints…This very lovely guy & gal fortunately keep coming back! Dropped this diptych off & to be honest was a little tricky, tried to keep it simple & not sure I nailed it entirely yet either but they're happy, picked them up & left another Jean, Horse IV to have some work done too… Be sure to look out for that one! This couple are very quickly becoming my favourites too!

Flash, 2014. Two embossed, gold foil chops, solid spot 5th colour background, high-gloss UV spot varnish over full colour images, signed & numbered lithograph prints by James Jean.

Okay, this one came in from the same two humans & trusted me enough to really go to town on this stunning piece of work by Melbourne boy, Jeremy Geddes… The perfect customers & stared at this thing for hours too, thanks guys! Went with a three mat combo, two frame design & was lucky enough to use the new release moulding from the Bellini Italian Classic Lucida range. This collection really is something to behold & a dream to work with! Please enjoy…

Hypostasis, 2014. Signed & numbered giclee art print by Jeremy Geddes.

High praise from one of our own awesome framers, and I fully agree. I had planned on matting out the border on mine, but this has me re-thinking!

This is a rarer Marilyn Monroe photo that I have had some fun framing. There are 9 mat with a slightly different reveal from small close to the photo to 1/2" wide on the upper mat. I wanted to give it the 3D optical illusion and really draw your eyes to the photo. It has a deep rabbit black wood frame and museum glass. I like how it turn out.
