Did a BUNCH of work on this today and for mock purposes only this is what it'll look like(I have a bunch more pics of how it got here but Beer is being consumed and I can't spare the time just this sec...)

I only cut one side because it's an inside frame, there might be minor variations in the outer frame so I'll put in place and scribe each piece to fit on it's own.
two very excellent tips. the importance of taking your time can not be overstated. it takes less time to do it right than to do it over.

Well the Frame is finished and now I'm trying various Mat comobs(Photoshopin' them).

I think I'm gonna go with a double White mat with Black Cores.

i would almost try to match the orange in the dragons body for the main mat, or the grey/silver in the wings, then a gold undermat.
