Hi,
Looking for opinions. What companies do you think do the best job at screenprinting?

I think Burlesque of NA does a helluva job.

D&L Screenprinting also very good.

Crosshair also top notch.

Of course someone is going to say Goldmark Atelier but I have never seen one in person. but I have seen the Choe Obama and that is one sick piece of screenprinted magic.

Serio Press, Eclipse, and Goldmark are the best I've personally seen.

I will second blue that eclipse does great work. I have never been impressed with the quality coming out of D&L for Mondo. Could be Mondo just keeping costs down but it seems like they use poor quality ink.

I don't personally care for D&L either.

Thought I posted this earlier, but for some reason I'm not seeing the post so I'll say again:
The most impressive screenprints that I have seen are done by Jeff Wood and Chuck Sperry. True masters of the process.

I own and operate a screen printing company as well as an online store on Etsy. I can answer questions anyone might have if they want to start up a clothing line or a screen printing company or an online store.

I was just printing screen with a friend around a year ago (mostly band t shirts). To heat up the garments, we use iron and dry hands. They still don't appear to crack. I would think you wouldn't need a machine straight away if you were just a layer designs dong. As for the various amounts of individual designs, this will be a major problem. Every time a number changes, you will require a fresh screen. That means to cover and expose a t-shirt screen (which makes it way more time consuming and expensive). The five screens, five inks and a squeegee outside the eBay can be found for approximately $250 aud. Wait for that

Another vote for Burlesque. Blue nailed some greats there with Eclipse and Serio. Half & Half and VGKids are solid. Sperry's a master but prob doesn't count cuz he's doing his own thing.

D&L's a mixed bag - they can do some really good work but also some real yikes work.

I used to like Lady Laz more but that too seems like a mixed bag, depending on if they ever get to your particular project in a timely fashion.

Do it yourself if you have the time to master it. Jakprints is a solid online screen printer and embroidery shop. Boldscreenprinting.com is another. I’ve used both of these. They’re on time and they do a decent job at a fair price. But redrivercatalog is on another level.
