How to ship a small screen print

Over the years I've become pretty good at shipping any size large screen print, without having any issues with anyone at all in terms of damage, etc. So that is good.
Never shipped a smaller print.
Need to ship a print which is 8x8 inches.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Ship flat and use Masonite. Flat b/t lotsa cardboard would work too, but Masonite is pretty tough to beat up.

What would you suggest to put in between the masonite boards and the print?

Agreed go flat, especially with any giclee prints that seem harder (less bendy).

Was definitely going to go flat, just not sure what to put in between the masonite boards to not scratch the screen print. Anyone???? Thanks.

Wrap the print in craft paper. If you have a Mylar sleeve to cut down to size, put it in that first. Or tissue paper, like the artists do. Tape the packaged print to the Masonite at the four corners. Cut the Masonite at least an extra inch around each side, then tape the sandwich closed all around. Then wrap it in craft paper. If it fits in a prepaid mailer/box from the post office, use that.

Glassine paper over the image is good to avoid scratches. Can get from dick blick. I use it over every print I ship.

Hobby Lobby sells little art sleeves in the aisle with portfolios. Buy a pack of 8x10 sleeves and a couple boards of masonite and you're set

If you have boxes save the effort and do 12x12 - six layers of cardboard.
