Would an acid free mat board placed between a print and a non-archival mat board (crescent Berkshire mat) be enough to prevent any acid burn. The print is not anything of huge value, but I just assume be safe.

you really want your prints sandwiched between a museum cotton rag matte. they r acid free; then u can back it with a board, maybe foamcore, but the print shouldn't be touching anything acidic for long term display

To clarify the print is sandwiched between acid free foam core and acid free mat board, but there is a second top mat that I'm not positive its acid free. The print itself is not in direct contact with the questionable mat

I've done acid a few times, I say it's cool.
