Thanks for the comments guys.

Both cherries have been dropped off at their homes. Glass for the oak and white files should be available tomorrow.

Massive thanks to eber rockbridge for all of his help and assistance with turning these files around. Could not at all have had these turn out the way they did without his kindness.

Those look amazing. I have that same wood flat file, and I have always wanted to refurbish it. Seeing this thread gets me motivated.

Hope it's cool if I post mine here Billy. I haven't see anyone with a double flat file with a window on top, i though some people might be interested in it.

Bought the file for $75 off CL. It was in such nice condition I didn't even have to repaint it. Just took the top off, and put plexiglass instead. Total cost = $175
