I have a few flat files that I would be willing to unload.... if interested, let me know.
I picked up two more the other day... All large, commercial grade. I'll cut a real good deal if someone is interested.

Philadelphia (Jenkintown)
We have to get rid of these blueprint flats files to make room in our offices. We've tried to list them several times on ebay with no buyers. These shelves MUST BE PICKED up. Absolutely no deliveries made. Each set comes with three cabinets (15 total drawers) for $55. We have a lot of these, so if you're interested in all of them (around 30) we can come lower than $55 each.

location: Hope, NJ easy on/off from Route 80.

picked these up a few weeks ago. another member grabbed one. I'm keeping the grey one. other (2) red ones are available. $50/each for the 5-drawer flat file. good for a refurb, need some TLC. one track is missing a wheel. some sticky drawers that need to be greased, overall in great condition. full pic set at link below.

Looks like you can get a brand new Sandusky 24" x 36" file from Home Depot for $316. Free shipping if you pick up from the store - might be a nice option if you don't live in an area with lots of used ones.

A steal if you're in Chicago... http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/fuo/5767915700.html

VINTAGE 20 DRAWER FLAT FILE CABINET - $125 (North Center)

Overall dimensions: approximately 27" wide x 43" tall x 21 1/2" deep
Drawer dimensions: approximately 20 1/4" wide x 1" tall x 15" deep
Color: pale yellow / cream / shabby chic antiqued finish

I am a collage artist, and I originally purchase cabinet to organize my various paper scraps and samples. I hate to get rid of this perfectly perfect storage piece but I have no room to keep it.

Purchased about 6 yrs ago in rough condition, I cleaned, stripped and repainted. I relined each drawer with butcher paper simply held in place with velcro tabs. New hardware was purchased which alone was a bit costly -- there are 20 single metal drawer pulls. The cabinet itself is sturdy and stable and with the drawers is quite heavy. I'm guessing the wood is oak -- just a guess.

Being vintage there is naturally usage damage. 3 sides are in good condition but I've kept the backside against a wall as it is not as finished or decorative in nature as the sides. Photos capture imperfections, warping and slight damage.

You will need a sizable vehicle for pick up and either a friend and/or a dolly for easier pick up -- I suggest both.

Asking $125 firm. North Center area for pick up.
