Trump fires John Bolton
Best thing the dude did since he took office! Good for everyone. Yeah, he may replace him with someone nutty, but it would be hard to find a nuttier nut.

How does Bolton get shitcanned and days later we're almost about to attack Iran? Did he finish his job writing the attack plan and story so they released him?

And before Comradx and Bubbie get their panties in a bundle—No most Americans wont agree, especially the ones in this thread.

I personally recognize the fact that you personally, probably fredo, and most or even all readers of this forum do not support some or any of the bombs dropped

I know where most or all of the “regulars” of this thread stand and I don’t mean any disrespect, if that’s where you are coming from. I feel like I said that previously, but I want to reiterate.
I feel like there is more of the same but don’t really care enough to look. Not sure if it is reading comprehension, selective reading, or lack of reading completely. Cool with me either way.

This Iran thing is sure to happen, IMO. I honestly thought that was the second term thing though and didn’t think things would escalate so quickly. And Iran was exactly what I meant when I said somewhere in this thread I am worried about what he will do in his second term, or something along those lines. Ain’t no war yet, so we will see. If one just happen to happen, I hope we would stay at home and let you guys figure this one out.
As for the last sentence in the quote above, I am voting for the dummy, aka Trudeau, in October. One of the many reasons is the following (this is from the second letter we received recently from the newly elected MP, aka the student, which is actually well written compared to the first one I posted in the random politics thread):

Which translates to we will follow everywhere fighting tyrants, promoting democracy, etc. No thanks!

Honest question: when one signs up for service in the United States, do they not expect to be send to some “hot spot” with above zero probability of being killed? I mean it is more than likely that one would be a veteran before one is done with it. I am just wondering, doesn’t one expect to spend some time in a war zone?

Edit: Trump hasn’t started any of them yet, fyi.

Explosion Hits Russian Virus Research Center That Houses Smallpox and Ebola

With no real place to post shade for nutbag antivaxers I chose a thread dedicated to a nutbag POTUS.

I love that the antivaxers hide behind herd immunity for diseases like measles etc. If smallpox got out you would see said antivaxers pushing people out of the way to get themselves and their kids vaccinated. The measles death rate of 0.2% is nothing compared to smallpox which killed 300M+ last century.

Doesn't seem like an honest question. Of course an enlisting soldier is aware that they will be subjected to danger or war. Of course U.S. soldiers (and most soldiers) will follow orders in war regardless of their personal opinions of the particular war.

That fact doesn't mean we should take the decision to place soldiers in a war zone lightly.

That's a pretty low bar, as no country has been seriously provoking a war against the U.S. since he was elected.
