"The chants of USA USA are almost fitting in a sense. USA, USA, where our president is accused of rape and sexual assault 15 times and still becomes president and then kicks out of his speeches anybody who calls attention to his friendly, uh, relationships with his co-alleged perpetrator, I guess we would call him. The crowd chants USA as a protester is ejected for holding up a picture of Trump with a man he allegedly conspired with to rape a 13 year old.

We don't have to read dystopian science fiction of hundreds of years from now or 50 years from now. I mean, this is the dystopia.

Understand this is how Trump takes back control with gender identity jokes. Trump is accused of raping a 13 year old with his friend Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein gets arrested, the allegations are horrible. Someone in the audience has a picture of Trump with Epstein and Trump gets the crowd back on his side. Instead of being concerned about the allegations, the crowd is riotous over Trump making fun of whether it's a boy or a girl because hey, they have long hair and long hair is for girls and the crowd goes absolutely bonkers.

How funny, right?

The world is laughing, the world is laughing and it is going to take years, if not a decade once Trump finally is gone to rebuild the relationships that he has embarrassingly destroyed."

Palm Beach PD, the Miami Herald among the entities (FBI too, of course, all the Feds) have ALL been investigating and researching Epstein since the early 2000's. He was even arrested and indicted (and promptly handed the slap on the wrist) back around '08 or '09.

Even after FusionGPS tried to find a connection, nothing.

Research firm Fusion GPS tried and failed to find evidence of a close relationship between then-candidate Donald Trump and billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, whose 'Lolita Express" private jet ferried powerful clients to his private island, "Little St. James."

Mr. Silverstein, who wrote the Vice.Com story, was asked by The Washington Times if Fusion pushed the Epstein-Trump story.
"Since you asked, yes, they helped me with that, Mr. Silverstein said. But as you can see, I could not make a strong case for Trump being super close to Epstein, so they could hardly have been thrilled with that story. [In my humble opinion], that was the best story written about Trumps ties to Epstein, but I failed to nail him. Trumps ties were mild compared to Bill Clintons."

Late February 2015, onstage at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. Trump, then flirting with a presidential run, was fielding softballs from Fox News host Sean Hannity when a lightning round of questions turned to a favorite topic: Bill Clinton. “Nice guy, Trump said. “Got a lot of problems coming up, in my opinion, with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein,” he added, seemingly veering off topic. “Lot of problems.”

Rape of a 13 year old violates several state criminal statutes in every state and territory in the US.

The NY jurisdiction has a District Attorney that is a Democrat elected by a citizenry with a majority Democrat voters, who would stand everything to gain by indicting Trump and nothing to lose in his district amongst his voters. If there was any credible evidence to this allegation there would be several state criminal indictments against Trump by this Democrat DA representing a Democrat district. Instead you have a civil lawsuit which anyone can bring, and that has been dismissed by a NY judge.

There aren't criminal indictments, which tells you there is nothing credible to this accusation. But it will get clicks($).

DW opinion: Donald Trump and the battle for the American nation
...Today there still exist two vastly different understandings of the American nation. There is one that sees the US as an ethnically homogeneous, Christian, white nation, and another that emphasizes the cosmopolitan nature of American society. Both go back to the early days of the United States. US President Trump glorifies white America, Barack Obama the cosmopolitan. The question of a person's origin, which Trump wants to ask again now, is therefore only the latest manifestation of a centuries-old dispute about what the US actually wants to be and who should belong there. Up to now the prevailing narrative has been that the US is a sanctuary for the troubled and persecuted of the world. This is also what is written at the base of the Statue of Liberty in New York. By instructing the US Citizen and Immigration Services to remove the addition "a nation of immigrants" from its mission statement, Donald Trump has set about reinvigorating the narrative of a white America.

The current dispute is not about being able to ascertain statistically who lives in the country. It is much more about making the country inaccessible to future generations of immigrants. In this sense, Donald Trump has already attacked the concept of "jus soli," or "right of the soil," which is birthright citizenship: Anyone born in the US is automatically a citizen. Donald Trump wants to abolish this, and in doing so, take away from children born to immigrants not only the ability to feel at home in the US, but also to be US Americans. In fact, this has so far distinguished the US from its European partners. In Europe, even the children of third-generation immigrants are asked where they "really" come from, whereas in the US everyone who professes to be American is considered American. This is not possible anywhere in Europe. And this is exactly what has been so appealing and created the pull that made America "great."

By wanting to abolish citizenship by birth, the president is now setting about abolishing the nation. At the end of this process — and he prefers it this way — America will be a parceled-out patch of land again, in which rather than the rule of law, the law of the jungle, with the strongest ruling the weaker, will apply.

...

The US remains divided on this issue, as it has been for two centuries. Future presidential elections, although perhaps not the next in 2020, will show whether this trend is solidifying. It is already apparent that people aged 40 and below incline toward ideas branded as "socialist" by older generations. Eighty-five percent of these younger voters are opposed to the border wall to Mexico, one of Donald Trump's central campaign promises. The US remains a country of immigration and optimism, at least when it comes to the majority of the younger generation.

As I've said before, not me. Your name calling and memes are great BTW.

But when you look for someone to support and see this type of hypocrisy, it's disheartening. I would think they'd like the platform to state their cases against the president and/or others.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, the only Democrat at hearing on Protecting Children From Predators

Booker, Harris and Klobuchar are all members of the committee. Three 2020 Democratic presidential candidates skipped a Senate hearing Tuesday on ways to protect children from predators on the same day they called for Labor Secretary Alex Acosta to step down over his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, a registered sex offender.

So despite their outrage(tweets) of Acosta’s involvement in helping a child predator remain free, they skip a hearing held by the senate judiciary committee, which discussed child predators and how to make the internet safer for children.

So. Much. Hypocrisy.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... budget-cut

The battle over the future of ILAB is ongoing. Acosta’s proposed cuts were imported into Trump’s $4.7tn federal budget, released in March, which contains several Republican goals including extra money for the military and funding of the president’s beloved border wall.

The Democrats have responded with a 2020 House budget that passed in June. It would see ILAB resources expand to $122m.

Conspiracy theory about slain DNC staffer was planted by Russian intelligence, report finds

A former assistant U.S. attorney told Yahoo that U.S. intelligence officials found Russia had planted and fomented the theory.

Hopefully your old pal Obomber is more worried about The Hague....

Great spot yet again, gorkie re. Seth Rich.

Pet project??

Wonderful to see you embracing conspiracy theories, matey. A total 180, I see, from your previous position.

You did realise your link offers not a grain of evidence to support its sorry tale, right?

And that Deborah Sines, the Asst. DA who broke the "story" could not be found to even comment on this, erm, allegation?

Did you even read it, given it proves nothing, or were you hypnotised by the headline?

I prefer the actual Yahoo piece though, as it has comments at the end which show approx 90% smell a rat, although they could all be Russians too, I guess...

When there's no effort to investigate Rich's death, speculation will naturally begin swirling...especially seeing the FBI didn't even care to forensically analyse the DNC servers themselves...how odd.

Even Mueller ducked that examination.

Wonder why????

https://news.yahoo.com/exclusive-the-tr ... 00831.html

Nevermind.

The Truth will out.

Julian Assange knows who gave him the files.....sadly, I suspect he will be dead before we get to hear his side of things.

But, no doubt the encrypted insurance files he uploaded are his "dead mans switch" in case of, ya know, Clinton, etc...

Funny, I can here that same derrrrrrp derrrrrp thing from earlier, too!

In sunny Australia, spending an inordinate time on a conspiracy theory involving a DC staffers death seems perfectly reasonable.
