https://www.foodsafetymagazine.com/news ... ty-system/

"...pork plant workers—who’s training will be up to their employer—will be tasked with identifying diseased and contaminated pork. Under the new system, no slaughter line speed limits would be required. Currently, line speeds are capped at 1,106 hogs per hour, or 18 hogs per minute. Another aspect of the new inspection system is that USDA would no longer test pork for Salmonella contamination. That would become the responsibility of plant owners, and their results would not have to be made public. Also, the plants will not be required to test for Escherchia coli, either. The administration is also planning to implement the same changes within the beef industry. USDA officials are planning to discuss what that might look like next month. "

You mean die again, right? Because that fudge is gonna make people die

Upside, it's gonna kill off old people who eat terribly and don't care and are proud republicans

downside is it's gonna kill children

but if they're the next generation of republicans dying, I guess that evens things out a bit
with this

Eh, I'm ok with the clash in there

Believe me, I'd love it if these people would stop voting in lawmakers who disregard the health of their constituents in favor of profits and would actually start voting sensibly instead of like potential lottery winners who don't want to get taxed when they win

But if they're going to vote in favor of murderously unhealthy fudge for themselves and those around them, I'm going to look at their absence as an upside. And yeah, I still think feeling that way toward them is still less asshole-y than they act. Sue me.

That would go against my views on tort reform.

Agreed

also, totally over centrists, aka "baby republicans"

This country is beyond needing a hard course correct. We should be a humanitarian country that will occasionally take on capitalist concepts that benefit everyone, not a capitalist country that sometimes acts in a humanitarian fashion when it can benefit rich people who don't need more money

Yee haw.

A Texas bill would make it possible to put women to death for having abortions

Dude looked like Rasputin being drug out of the embassy in London. Cute how Russia wants his rights respected as their government has literally murdered people in the streets of London.
