Gloves don’t come off in primaries. The Republican attack ads alone against Sanders would have have waltzed Trump into the White House.
Honest question, how do you think they are going to demonize him? His weird, creepy, yet funny 80s public tv shows? Dude has been preaching the same stuff his whole life. What are they going to attack other than his age and his being a socialist? He's not much older than Trump so I don't think going that route would be effective, and as far as making socialism the bogeyman, even the recent Fox News interview with him got applause from the audience when he was touting socialist ideas like health care for all. When people actually hear what his ideas are.... they end up liking them, a lot.
His being a socialist will lose the national election.

Don’t try to convert me, I believe in a good deal of what he stands for. But if Hillary can be painted as a criminal and lose to Trump, Sanders will be painted as Hugo Chavez and would have lost to Huckabee.

We'll have to disagree there, also Hillary was much easier to dislike, the same way I think Warren has a problem with being disliked, regardless of whether either deserved it or not.

I see the US is busy manufacturing consent for war with Iran, blaming Iran without any evidence shown, for the two tanker hits and calling Iran's "actions" provocative ( the irony..)

The strange thing is, as this attack was taking place, Japans PM Shinzo Abe was sat with Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran, discussing ways to reduce tensions with the US.

Image

Why strange? Because one of the two tankers was carrying Japanese cargo.....false flag, anybody?

Remember Japan was buying oil from Iran, in contravention of US "laws" which banned such purchases, until recently....

Now we all know that all US 'enemies' spend their time doing self-destructive 'fudge that gives the US an excuse for sanctions and war...heres yet another perfect example of how Iran "shot itself" in the foot.
Conveniently.

If things kick off militarily this will not bode well for the US ( as well as Iran, obviously...), as the Straits of Hormuz will be closed by Iran to oil tankers flowing through it and the domino effect that will cause.

And Iran's military has more teeth than Iraq's had, and will have learnt from others' mistakes.

And they've got big missiles which I'd imagine would be pointed towards that lovely ME sanctuary from madness, Israel.

Yet more rottenness from the State of Denmark.

You really are the biggest terrorist organisation around and clearly the biggest threat to peace. Anywhere.

No doubt your rollout to war will continue.

I say this to my fellow Americans everywhere, all of whom will be reading this:
She's not easier to dislike - she won by 3 million votes. YOU are predisposed to disliking her, and so FoxDump Inc. took advantage of it.

That is the take-home and you should think long and hard about it, America.. Thank you all for listening ; your restraints should be loosened within 3 minutes.
just a foil for me today, thanks

In case you misunderstood me, I'm talking about Hillary being easier to dislike than Bernie, not Trump, and my opinion stands. You could combine all the negative aspects of each Dem running into one super unlikable DNC robot candidate and they still wouldn't be as bad as Trump. Hillary could have won by 30 million more votes and still lost, the point is that in the states that actually mattered (mine obviously isn't one of them) she was disliked, probably not for any of the good or valid reasons to dislike her, but like you said... FoxDump Inc.

I understood you. Just making it clear that I don't consider her to be intrinsically dislikable. People just fell for a (largely - I didn't think she was any more trustworthy than a lot of famous people) bullshit image of her that played on their prejudices.

Good to see the Clintonites still backing their gal... God luv 'em.

She was easy to dislike. Intrinsically so. And thats why she lost. Simple.

She has scandals galore, tarnishing her name that go back to the 90's...this is not Fox manufacturing it, its been ongoing for the last 30 years.

Not sure what fredo is raving about that you are all predisposed to hating her, what rubbish!

No one is predisposed to anything...they made judgement calls based on her track record of lies, scandals and deceit etc etc.

Theres not one reason why she lost; the reasons are too many to list.

Her cavalier attitude towards visiting certain states because she was convinced she'd win, didn't help her cause. That she lost to a failed reality TV star made it all the more sweeter.

Oh, and deleting 30,000 emails from her private server before the FBI could get to them didn't cover her in glory, pre election either. The people saw that.

X is so full of fudge. Scandals galore. Right. Fabricated hyperbole by conspiratorial drymount nuts like X. Whitewater? fudge. Bengazi? fudge. 30,000 emails deleted? fudge. I guess if you say the lies enough, they can become a truth to the mentally feeble. Must be an Aussie thing.
