It's the party of diminishing returns.

2000 -08 Tax breaks for richfolk + spend out the ass on wars + mic drop as economy tanks
2008-2016 Pretend all that didn't happen + stonewall to get tax breaks for rich enshrined forever + blame everything on the black guy
2016-2020 Huge tax breaks for the rich + push to roll back all good things + fight china (badly) + imaginary iran boogeyman
2020 = profits?

ps white dudes aren't doing so good
just a foil for me today, thanks

unnecessary, expensive, destabilizing.......interesting choice of adjectives to describe dropping bombs on civilians.

Is that what you call down-playing ?

Howzabout criminal, illegal, murderous ?

Frivolity regarding Wars, especially America's favourite kind, the manufactured war, have always been an American standout.

Congratulations, you continue the ignorant tradition.

You imply only Republicans start unnecessary, expensive, destabilizing wars?

I notice that you skipped Obomber, who is widely revered as your Cool Guy President, who was into his 3rd War at the same point in his presidency as Trump is...isnt marketing wonderful!

"turns out I'm really good at killing people..." from Obombers own mouth.

Afghan, Libya, now a massive slave market thanks to US democracy raining down, was reduced to the Stone Age by Obomber, just to steal their oil, ala Bush in Iraq, or now Trump in Iran.

Murdering thieves...

Obomber continued Bush's slaughters and now Trump continues with Obombers slaughters.

Any reason why you skipped Obama? Cos he's cool to you??

Do you believe his Wars were cheaper, more necessary or less destabilising?

It makes no sense that he could invoke executive privilege for tax returns submitted to the IRS before he became president. Maybe, arguably, any tax returns he submitted since he became president but even then it's a weak argument.

New York lawmakers pass bill aimed at weakening Trump's pardon power
The measure, which creates a narrow exception to the state's double jeopardy law, now goes to Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo's desk.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald ... n_20190521

The exception would allow state prosecutors to open or advance investigations into any pardoned individual who served in a president's administration, worked directly or indirectly to advance their campaign or transition, or worked at a non-profit or business controlled by the president and whose alleged criminal activity took place in New York state. The exception also allows for investigations to be opened or continued into anyone who was pardoned for the president's benefit.

Maybe the DOJ can write a memo saying Trump can't be investigated by anyone. And Trump as head of the executive branch can just say that everything is executive privilege and thus out of the reach of anyone. The IRS memo was drafted LAST fall and is not worth the paper it is printed on. It will be fun to watch that point be litigated.

Honestly one would think so, but at this point he has a firm grip on 37% by most figures i hear. Thats a good grip, hell thats a great grip considering who he is and what he has done. At this point in the game that 37% will never, ever, under any circumstances turn on him. He could take their healthcare, reduce their social security, raise their taxes and they are all like "lock her up."

Dude we have reached a point in our stupidity where we cant even make this crap up anymore.

Fun ain't the word I'd use. At minimum, he can stall til it gets to the Supreme Court, and he currently all but pwns dat court. The legislative branch has been impotent in checking the president for a while now.
