Howdy, folks! Running a little late this year, but here we are. The 95th annual Academy Awards are this Sunday, March 12th. This is the 12th year of Rotten Oscars, EB’s annual celebration of cinema, created to help enhance the show and the weeks days leading up to it.
You know the routine. Same rules, same site. Let's boogie!
Rules
1. Make your picks on runyourpool using the link below. One entry each.
https://www.runyourpool.com/p/j/e963c13 ... 161efb87e7
2. Make sure your entry name matches or is similar to your name on EB. Must have 1 year or 100 posts on EB by showtime.
3. Post a picture, gif, or video of any Oscar winner, nom, or snub in this thread. Top 10 lists or pics of previous Oscar ceremonies are also allowed. Basically, any movie-related post will do.
4. Picks and pics are due by the start of the show on Sunday, March 12th.
Prizes
Matt Taylor Black Panther variant. Donated by binky79
Rian Johnson pack (t-shirt size L). Donated by Salty Winters
NEW PRIZES EDIT:
Todd Slater Robocop. Donated by cerebus
Malleus Reefer Madness. Donated by RPuzio77
Vania Zouravliov The Hidden Fortress. Donated by RPuzio77
The winner, as determined by runyourpool, will get first pick of the prizes. If there are clear-cut 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place winners, they will get the remaining prizes. In the event of any ties, drawings via random number generator will determine who gets the remaining prizes.
What were your favorite movies of the year? Favorite performances? What's underrated? Overrated? Who got snubbed?
Let's hear it in the comments. Thanks for playing and good luck!
Stoked to see this again! Who needs prizes when this is all about pride!
Looking forward to figuring out my pics this weekend, appreciation for the donations and for running this!

This always makes the Oscars so much more fun to watch! Thank you to RottenAtom, binky79, and Salty Winters for making it happen.
I have to use this post to champion one of my favorites from this year: I loved THE INSPECTION and I'm both disappointed and surprised that Jeremy Pope's incredible performance didn't get more recognition this awards season.

Cheers, Joe! Good luck buddy
What a performance!
Good call! Thanks for being my faithful wingman
A very underrated movie and my favorite performance of the year

Yeah buddy! Better late than never. I liken the Rotten Oscars to a bar we all meet up at 1 night a year. Always fun to see the usual suspects and see who makes the best predictions. Still trying to get a solo victory myself!

Rotten Oscars Trivia. I think that was probably the biggest giveaway in the history of EB. Dozens of prizes. We broke the website.
I am totally stoked this is back! Of course, this is another year where I avoided sitting in theatres, for the most part, so I'm way behind on watching actual nominees.
I'm sad this performance disqualified itself (or so I've heard, I'm not paying enough attention). It was hardly the best of the year, but it convinced me once and for all that this kid (this 33-year-old kid) is all-in on every performance.

Drink like nobody's watching.
