I think some of the awards have been announced on social media. If possible, lets keep that info out of this thread until it's updated on the scoreboard on our picks website. That way folks who want to be surprised can be surprised if the website waits to reveal them until the pre-recorded segment airs. So far they haven't posted the winners on runyourpool
They have and drymount that fudge, man. :hanging:

Before this turns into a novel, I just wanna say I always appreciate you RottenAtom - for graciously hosting the Rotten Oscars! And so much props to all the selfless prize donors: binky79, revmod, and Salty Winters. 🙌
Definitely this!

I only made one change to my picks earlier today - animated to Encanto cause of the overwhelming odds. But that movie actually did very little for me and I find anything LMM-related suuuuuper annoying (Hamilton fans don’t @ me - I totally respect what it did, I do not care to see it again).

Mitchell/Machines was incredible to me. Really hope it wins even though I didn’t pick it.
I have to agree about Encanto (I actually preferred both Mitchell and Luca), although "We Don't Talk About Bruno" was such a fun song, I'm really surprised that wasn't the song that received the nomination. A month later and I can't get it out of my head!

I don't even dislike him. He's a solid actor. Just thrust upon us constantly in every other movie (like Adam Driver) and I don't think he's always suitable for the role.

Ariana DeBose with the "first" win of the night. I voted for her but Aunjanue Ellis in King Richard was my favorite performance in that category.

14 folks tied for the lead. Let's go!

Looks like the pre-taped awards have hit the scoresheet and just like that there are no more perfect scores

The other ones I was not so sure about, but the animated short seemed like a lock. At least everyone else took the hit with me.

That song wasn't even nominated. Is this a movie awards show or a Disney concert?

Man, these "Fan Favorite" moments are so bad. The Oscar version of everyone gets a trophy

This is so bad... I've never been so bored during an Oscars telecast. These "comedy" bits are rough.

The pre-taped segments are so disrespectful. They feel like an afterthought. They breeze through them and there over with before you even know what the category is.

Did that just happen?!?

Will Smith just assaulted Chris Rock at the Oscars?
