I’m currently at the place I am every year at this point - looking pretty good, about to fall hard.
Edit - posted this 20 seconds before missing Collette, but looks like everyone did lol.

Congrats Yuh-Jung Youn! Thanks for bringing some humor to an otherwise boring show

Whoah! Back in it. Did not expect you all at the top to have Nomadland for Cinematography. Thanks Mank!
It was a toss-up for me on either Nomadland or Mank for it.RottenAtom wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 10:09 pmWhoah! Back in it. Did not expect you all at the top to have Nomadland for Cinematography. Thanks Mank!

Oh yes, Mank for cinematography. I’m a fan of Messershmidt, for this and for his work on Mindhunter. Nomadland was beautifully shot too. Made for tough choice. But this is another category I went with my favourite.

Screw it, last minute switch for fave song pick. Id rather go down in flames with my fave of this bunch than one of the two more favored noms. I loved Eurovision

So glad Mank won this slot! I have been championing Messerschmidt ever since I saw it, they made such a gorgeous film.middayshadows wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 10:13 pmOh yes, Mank for cinematography.
