Pretty pumped Parasite got the recognition it deserved. I'm not sure how much I thought it was going to win Best Picture, or if I just really wanted it to win. I appreciated 1917, but in my opinion, just didn't think it was Best Picture worthy. Nice work though Abstractlyput - you were great competition!

Big thanks to all of those that donated items towards this great tradition, as well as those that took the time to organize it - I think we all really appreciate it. It certainly makes the Oscars that much more fun.

As always, thank you for putting this up RA. One of my absolute favorite events on EB - not even for the prizes, but just the fun of shooting this fudge with you all.

Very strong year in terms of contenders - stoked to see Parasite win big even if it botched my picks. Pleasant surprise right there. Thanks to all the donors as always!

Amazing night for Parasite! Really did not see that coming, even if it was most deserving.

Congrats to the winners, and huge thanks to RA for hosting. I keep saying it’s my favorite time of year on EB, and I’ll keep saying it as long as it keeps happening.

Cheers!

I was stoked to see Bong win Director (not just because it was my pick), but was truly surprised and super thrilled at Parasite also winning Picture.

Loved Bong’s acceptance speech and his shout outs to Scorcese (is a standing ovation for a different nominee during an acceptance speech a first?) and Tarantino, who has been a big booster of his for years.

Didn’t win but not a bad showing either this year at 19/24.

BIG big thank you again to RA for running the Rotten Oscars every year, it’s an eb and oscars-day highlight , always!

Thanks RA for organising, thanks for those who donated the prizes and congrats to Onesheet for the win - Well done.

Always a great way to spend a Monday arvo at work down here in Oz - and have the EB site running in the background checking in on how things are going.

And well done to Parasite and Director Bong for the multiple awards. Well deserved.

A Big congrats on onesheet! That was super close! Thought the Academy would chose 1917 for best pic, but I'm super happy Parasite won. Thought it was the better film. Fantastic for representation and opens doors for more diverse films to be green-lit and get recognized by the Academy.

Right after Parasite won best picture, my cousin responded with: "First, Crazy Rich Asians gets popular. Then, crazy Asians win Best Picture."

Thanks again RA for putting this together year after year!

Really happy for Bong and Parasite, it is so well deserved.

Still Bummed that Aster and Midsommar got snubbed so bad.
