Glad EB got it's fudge together in time  Thanks for keeping it alive, Adam

You gotta get on that. Biggest snub of the year and definitely better than everything I've seen that's gotten nominated for best picture. To be honest they made a better spike lee movie than spike did. Seems like it didn't get pushed out to critics (or anyone else) as hard as it should've.

It didn't get any kind of an awards push. None of the critics I know received screeners or links. I'm on the library's reserve wait list... should be soon. Looking forward to seeing it.

Right on, good luck!

Here's an easy way to post a pic. You can also post your 10 favorite films of 2018.

Top 10 not necessarily top artistic merit but how I enjoyed them at the time of watching depending on circumstances (cinema experience, after/during a few beers, state of mind at the time of watching, etc.)
Burning
You Were Never Really Here
Hereditary
Infinity Wars
The Death of Stalin
Isle of Dogs
Deadpool 2
A Quiet Place
Mandy
First Reformed

As of yesterday I have seen 8 of the 9 films nominated for Best Picture.

I wish I had more enthusiasm in saying that. Many of them were good. And many of them certainly had elements that were praiseworthy in and of them selves. But I cant remember another year where I've thought so few of the noms as truly worthy of the big prize.

I felt that one of them did indeed stand heads above all the rest, and that one will be my prediction to win.

Isle of Dogs! This might be a pretty below average year for best picture nominees, but the Animated Feature category might be the strongest I can remember. Black Panther was my second-favourite superhero of colour this year.

Glad this is still happening. Here is my snub. Susannah York should've won Best Supporting Actress for They Shoot Horses Don't They. She was inexplicably beaten by Goldie Hawn in Cactus Flower. So, if Green Book wins, there is precedence. Image
