It took a lot more attention to get through, that's for sure!RambosRemodeler wrote:

Doing picks now,
PS I can't remember hating another best picture nom more than fences. I am sure there are others but my god that movie was drymounting terrible. Its only saving grace was Viola Davis.

Denzel was good, but I wonder is how much of a stretch it was for him. Just watched Manchester last night. It'll be interesting to see who the Academy favours between Denzel, Casey and Ryan. None of the performances are oscar worthy IMO, compared to past performances of each actor.

Better late than never (maybe too late).
Just re-watched this last month. It is a perfect film to me. Always tough to watch, but too important not to.

^Spider-Man 2 is one of my favorite superhero movies of all-time. Didn't care for 1 and 3, but 2 was just right.

Picks in and ready to get crushed. Big ups to the prize donors and of course RA for wrangling this all together
This year I'll go with the most unfairly snubbed flick of all time

P.S. c00by doo where are you?

This year will be interesting. Hollywood poised n ready with their political soapboxes ... yet still reeling from #OscarsSoWhite backlash. So will La La Land really sweep all the big stuff? I don't think so. Will be especially shocked if they get both best picture and best director.
