I did the tube thing for a minute, but now I'm 100% solid-state.

Does anyone have the expensive deluxe version of Sgt Pepper's with the high res bluray? It's as cheap as it's been at Amazon right now, which is still drymounting expensive, and I'm debating whether to bite the bullet.

Buddy of mine picked it up and ripped it for me. Impressive.

Just picked up the new Schiit Magni Heresy headphone amp (99 bucks) and it is a freakin' monster. I've had several headphone amps that cost 4 and 5 times as much as this little thing and nothing can compete. Dead silent, tons of power, and dirt cheap. Never even used the high gain. If you are a headphone user, drop everything and go pick one up.

Also in the same chain are Schiit Bifrost, Wyrd, and Loki - listening on Hifiman planar magnetics.

I have their Modi 3 DAC, picked it up over the holidays. Really solid products.
