I'm obviously more on the progressive side of things here. Can't wait for the new Animals as Leaders.
Im with you here. Any details on whats to come from AAL?
This is the latest I have heard, from September:

And if you haven't heard the collab Tosin did with Misha Mansoor:

Seems I get work done much faster listening to AAL (probably because it's all instrumental).

Yeah, I prefer non lyrical music at the job, it's less distracting IMO.

I get a lot of blank stares when I put AAL on the stereo at work for some kitchen closing time jams. It gets worse when I try and explain polyrhythms.

Is the new Alcest a joke? #wherethefuckistheblackmetal

Sounds more like Sunny Day Real Estate.
Won't be in a position to sell for a few months. Not likely before end of May 2014 please don't pm and ask.

The couple tracks I've heard from the new album are great. Really beautiful. At this point, why would you be surprised at the lack of black metal? Alcest have been heading in this direction for some time.

^^Interesting. Awfully mid - rangey for my taste, but nice bass lines reminiscent of Mudvayne.

Cynic has changed their sound drastically through the years. The best example of their work is the album Focus. It is required listening and so ahead of it's time. If you have not heard it I highly recommend it.
