Use to love the Brent potty-mouth rants he'd go off on every once in a while.

Best Brent moment was at Foxboro with his little daughter sitting next to him at piano while he sang "I will take you home" - never really dug the song but it was pretty cool.

Two weeks later he OD'd - dumbass. His death put Jerry back on the persian.
All right Hamilton!

i'm surprised this thread took this long to come out. :D

i love the llama or the archive or whatever you want to call it. I actually got a hat from them for all the uploads.

Anyways, Dead to the Core is a cool book. I'm about half way through it going by show to show.

I've been on a big Road Trips kick lately, and the pure jerry series.

I'd love to hear the new Road Trips vol4 #4 and the new Europe 72 part 2.

I recently picked up Dead Ahead on DVD, from Radio City in October of 1980. Reckoning is one of my all time favorite albums, and I had no idea this video was ever on DVD until recently, and it's mastered in 5.1.

Taking this thread a step furthur (pun intended), thoughts on the latest Bobby/Phil band? For what it is, I think it's the best post-Jerry project yet. Love Joe Russo on drums, don't miss Larry Campbell one bit, and fake Jerry is, well, fake Jerry.

Favorite show (lately) 5-7-77
An excellent Dark Star, and otherwise perfect 2nd set, can be found on DP vol. 2

Not a fan of Brent's voice or keys tone.

Donna- oof. They clearly wanted and maybe benefitted from that feminine edge in the mid 70s. And they probably couldn't have used a very plished voice,but... "her"?

speaking of May of '77... 5/9/77 is one of the best shows ever by any band anywhere ever. You gotta love Betty and her 'boards.

So true.

I had a nice listen to these today:
03/25/66
07/03/66
07/16/66
07/17/66
11/29/66
03/18/67

I love Charlie Miller boards.

I wish they'd let you D/L the SBDs again. Or does anyone have a fudge-ton?

I do. They're pretty badly organized, but I went on a burning and looting spree a few years back.

February 1971 was good.
About the entire winter of '73 would've been a nice time to see them, too.

Are there sbd's or streaming shows floating around of the gigs with Duane Allman? Was that the Cow Palace?
