Yeah, keep pretending that's even close to the same thing. :P

I would take it at this point. I have seen Puscifer 2 times but have never seen APC.
I need more. Nothing seems to satisfy. I don't want it. I just need it. To feel, to breathe, to know I'm alive. - MJK

Should do. Heard they are laying down tracks, and trying to get weird Maynard to come in for vocals.

Hence the tour, gotta get him back warmed up with the rest of the band.

Big Tool fan, but they bored me the last few times I saw them. Pretty much the same setlist every time (shows were a couple of years apart!). Puscifer, on the other hand is a lot of fun, and much more energetic. The last time I saw APC, they played Mer de Noms from start to finish, so it was a great show.

I'm excited for Maynard's 50th birthday show - you know it will be chalk full of special guests. 8)

I think both of MJK's other projects are good and have always enjoyed their live shows. I would tend to agree the setlist has stagnated but neither of those other bands have Danny Carey and frankly I have listened to the same Tool songs hundreds of times so any chance to see them live is a good time.

At this point, a new Tool album feels almost mythical.

Yeah, I couldn't pull the trigger on the VIP package either. Having already met the band once I don't have much interest in sound check and whatnot. Did snag floor seats for the Eugene show during the general on sale though, I cannot wait!
