its in there, there is something. only problem is, blair has posted the anagram meanings far and few between amongst many newsletters. he just loves drymounting with us. dammit blair, just allow the band to take our drymounting money, you dont have to make it THIS difficult.

so, we wait until next month, when the 12th will probably come and go without a word from blair until the december newsletter where he will apologize for not posting anything on the 12th of november, and never mention it again. i sure as hell wouldnt be surprised.

Haven't been keeping up with Tool news? Is a tour anticipated? Would this be a good time to join the Tool Army?
I might have asked this a while back but other than the ability to get fan club seats is it worth the dough? How good are the fan club seats?

I joined Tool Army years ago in the hopes of promised pre-sales and other exclusives. They haven't offered pre-sales or anything that I'm aware of since maybe the Lateralus tour. People complain about it in the Tool Army forum quite often. Most of the exclusive info is buried in Blair's cryptic nonsense posts and news letters. Most of the news letters don't even have anything to do with the band and seem to focus more an Blair's gold Coleman cooler or trips to the desert in hopes of spotting a clandestine government UFO experiment. And when there is some actual news about the band, it usually makes it to the news section of toolband.com anyway.

The only thing I've gotten being a member of Tool Army is two signed copies of the Lateralus vinyl (exclusive to Tool Army members), one with "Adam Was Here" written on it with an arrow pointing to his thumb print in silver ink. Pretty cool! They did offer the Salival box set (last year I think) that was signed by the band and some doodled by Adam. I think they only had about 30 copies so not very many people got them.

Other than that it's kind of a waste of money. The way the forum is set up is ridiculous and hard to find what you are looking for. And there are a lot of retards on there posting stupid crap. If they do re-design Tool Army it may be much better. They still need to offer a little more to the fans that paid to be a member than the crap Blair spoon feeds us. JMHO

Very good info. Thanks. I'll wait to see if there is a redesign.

I joined in like 2002 and paid once. I have never been asked for any more money and I did get in on a really good set of seats for a pre-sale. I dont pay enough attention, but do whip out out my membership card in circumstances when people ask me if I listen to TOOL. LISTEN! I'm a card carring member of TOOLARMY!

I whiffed on the box sets and otherwise think the forum over there is junk. I hope for a redesign and I hope to hear less of Blairs ramblings.

by they way.... its a silver coleman.
