Great start to the tour last night, band sounded great. Pretty much all the songs you would expect. Helped that Maynard seemed really into it.

Decent setlist - Sweat and Opiate - always nice to see them pull out some of the older stuff. What was the deal with Ions (usually an intermission) then only 1 more song? Seems a little odd...

Eulogy played tonight!
First time since 2001. I saw it at my first ever Tool show that year and haven't heard it since. Really hope it stays in rotation. I'll be seeing them Sunday at Boston Calling and I can't wait!

Geez, I don't think I've seen them play that since '98, and I've seen them more than a dozen times since then. Very cool.

Adam Jones did the Fairfax poster, guessing he does most of them, if not all

Looks that way. Same bugs. The VA poster had flocking in the black areas apparently.

Tool killed it tonight at Boston Calling. Maynard was actually pretty chatty and gave a nice little Memorial Day speech/rant in typical Maynard fashion. Show was a little short and a couple songs got cut due to time constraints, but I still got my Third Eye! The fiancee end up buying the poster for the show that was signed by the band! Really pumped about that, and it will be going on the wall ASAP!

If anyone didn't watch the video yet unfortunately I think this is a 1 off, It is was dedicated to Chris Cornell. Went to Pittsburgh as well Hershey was special most fun I've had seeing them since my first show in 01. Great to see them keep adding dates, they have the a too big a catalog to limit it the same songs each night. (Other than playing the pot a few times.

I listened to a good portion of it and it is basically the same interview they did last time he was on. Talk about MMA, Nardo's training, wine and hating LA. Lather, rinse repeat.

Well, to be fair, the stuff about MJK getting a fake hip was new.

Someone go wake Adam Jones up and get the drymounting album done...
