TOOL announces summer tour
I snagged this from Tool's Official website.
"I'm sure many of you have heard of an upcoming summer tour. Although I can't announce any specific dates yet (as the bulk of the dates haven't been confirmed), once they are finalized and official, we'll be sure to announce them on the site. So... be on the lookout for these dates to be posted soon, and get ready for live Tool this summer. "

I gave up STP tickets last summer because the night before I broke my fibula in a drunken wrestling match. I would have NEVER given up TOOL tickets. Dont let me hear of you doing that again.

There are rumors of the new album, but nothing to speak of yet.

I hope the last half doesn't sound like A Perfect Circle this time.

not much a tool fan, but does this mean new emek's?

ISO mccarthy ''the white tree' #6 and #10 canvases, or Clonal Colony aurora variant
Not sure if I understand. Are you saying the last half of 10,000 days sounds like APC? I am respinning it as we speak and I dont see the comparison. Yeah it's Maynard, but strange time signatures, erie sounds, and lack of a radio friendly song, still sounds like Tool to me.Codeblue wrote:I hope the last half doesn't sound like A Perfect Circle this time.

You are so wrong. Listen to "Right in Two" again.Codeblue wrote:Yes.
I guess I am really wondering how a band of 4 with 3 retaining members, all of which write the music before vocals or lyrics are added, can change their sound, to sound like a band that only one member (the singer) plays in. Puzzling
I get emotional when it comes to Tool. Take my opinion with a big grain of salt.

now lets just hope for some new tool material to be tried out at these shows this summer. also, i wouldnt be surprised at all if they released a new album this year in the same manner that NIN released ghosts. no pre-release info AT ALL. just wake up one day, turn on the computer, and BAM, new album to download.
