Cage The Elephant "Thank You Happy Birthday"
Great record. A beautiful mess. Reminds me a lot of early Pixies "Surfer Rosa" meets Modest Mouse.

I can't get this out of my head. Heard it just the other day, and I've been going back to it. The vibe just hits me straight, knowwhutimsayin?

Check out their set at Live From Daryl's House, it's the heat. Breaking The Chains of Love, Money Grabber, and Mr. President are all great.

I'm listening to this right now, actually kinda addicted to the MixCloud thing. I just know my employer has blocked MixCloud, so my enjoyment will be squashed in about 10 hours. Ugh.

http://www.mixcloud.com/funkafied/ #013 is solid, I'm half way through it.

Also digging on "Beautiful City" by Brixtonboogie, cool vibe.
