^^ says "video is private." what is it? :)

Feeling Mexican today.

Molotov -Gimme tha Power (photographed in the style of Lubezki, Rodrigo Prieto, and directed in the way Inarritu and Cuaron started...)

Los Caminos de la Vida - Tropa Vallenata... heartfelt lyrics that reflect "corrido" and "Colombian" music in the lyrics and music, respectively. So corny but so good at the same time.

I used to go to this flea market in Mexico EVERY weekend -probably got more vinyl I should have collected in a lifetime there. A video that is 1/2 Jodorowsky...

Cuban Danzon with Monterrey (Mexico) rap:

Cover of Tim Buckley's original.
Used in the movie Lost Highway (David Lynch).
Sang here by This Mortal Coil -one of the dudes in that band then founded 4AD Record Label... <--- which, is fantastic.

Anyway:

This Mortal Coil- Song to the Siren

Local Hip Hop artist, Johaz, and LA producer, Exile = Dag Savage. Great song from their latest album.

I know alot of people probably don't like the overall apeall of John Mayer for one reason or another, but the man's got some major talent and at his age, imagine what he'll do over the next 30 years. Probably in the top 5 or 10 most current blues men.
