BD II is July 21-August 6, exactly the same dates as the original BD. Friday, Saturday Sunday, day off, Tuesday Wednesday, day off, repeat repeat. Cannot wait!

Also heard the 16 shows rumor. I think that rumor started after Harry Styles did 15 shows but I honestly don't think Phish gives a fudge about that and wouldn't push themselves that hard just to one-up him. Also murmurings of "23 in 23" but wven if they did 16 in the summer and 4 for NYE, that's still another 3 shows that need to be shoehorned in somehow.
KBBQ - contracts have been signed but nothing is final until they announce it on .com. They had this same plan in place last year and something similar the year before but all bets are off these days with COVID and other factors. But the spring west coast mini tour seems to confirm more than deny that this is what's happening this summer.

I'm not that far from NYC in CT and honesty not that excited about another MSG residency. I'd probably still do 3 or 4 nights, but I'm not schlepping down there with crappy seats. It's floor or bust this time around. Officially jaded? Maybe.

With the crazy increases in prices (165 all in for the bowl shocked me this am) I think they will have a tough time filling the garden for 13 16 23 shows in July/august even if they do get it scheduled. Hell, the initial reception of BD1 was luke warm and tix were easily available until the last week or so when fudge became almost Hampton 09 level difficult if you didn't have tix. You will be looking north of 2k for a single ticket request to all shows and that's if they only do 13 (which I still doubt). Now 13 shows at the beacon or rcmh....let's do that if you want to make it special like the 1st run
Personally I think comparing Harry's run there to the BD1 isn't even in their heads. Harry 15 almost identical shows with other bands (pearl jam ) in the midst of the run Apples and oranges
