I was 2nd in line at Euclid NOLA. Got everything I wanted - Devo Box, Fell Kuti/Roy Ayers, The Bird and the Bee (both), Green Jelly, Lost in Translation ST, and a few others. Only thing I missed that I wanted is Procol Harum.

My RS only got one, and I grabbed it for a friend.

I lined up early after the Electric Wizard show the night before. Met some cool peeps and grabbed the Hallowed Ground remaster from the Violent Femmes. Talk about taking you back to some incredible times back in the day... and they did a killer job with the analog mastering. Sounds amazing

I used to get up early and go to the local Miami record store but in the past few years it has just turned into people showing up early to buy stuff just to flip it. the store opens at 8am so I would get there at 6:30 and be first or maybe third in line...these days though I get there at 6:30 and there is already a group of people there just buying the the most wanted stuff just to sell. lame.

I know its all about supporting the local record stores (we literally only have 2 in all of South Florida) but its much easier just to pay a slight amount more and pick things up on eBay. this year was impossible for me because I was traveling but I got everything I wanted for just above cost on fleabay. The Dylan, Sublime, and Pearl Jam...

this was also one of the worst years I can remember for releases...pretty poor all around.

Missed out on the Queen Bohemian Rhapsody single, The Crow soundtrack, The Struts, and Weezer Teal album. Green Jelly, too.
