Killer Mike + El-P

Love these guys. Finally got all of their albums on vinyl, so giving them all a proper listen through.

Here are new videos of them performing "Angel Duster" and "Legend Has It" from their ACL Live show last fall (which debuts on PBS this weekend)
What's your favorite RTJ album? And what's you're favorite song?

If you like RTJ, definitely listen to Killer Mike's RAP Music & El-P's Fantastic Damage and I'll Sleep When You're Dead.

I saw them at Terminal 5 last year and it's easily in my Top 3 Hip-Hop shows I've ever seen...

Holy fudge! I guess I never realized that El-P had worked with Trent. I've listened to this remix so many times over the years, but it was before I knew anything about El-P and well before Run the Jewels existed... mind.blown

I really like this joint featuring them, that not too many people seem aware of:

Yeah. I love RTJ. But I got into "backpack" hip hop in the early 2000's, when El P was already a kind of legendary figure due to his contributions to Company Flow. He is an amazing mc and an even better producer. He produced Cannibal Ox's classic Cold Vein record. And for my money, Fantastic Damage is one of the best hip hop lp's ever made, period.
