At this point in his career? Most of these dudes still think they're going to fight for the title some day. Otherwise, why even bother (other than for aforementioned paycheck). Look how long it took Bisping to get there. I never thought dude would win, much less defend the title.

If Boestch sees himself as anything more than a low end gate keeper, then I don't know what to say....
My comments are more pointed at the UFC and their choice to book this fight than the fighters agreeing to it.
IMO Boestch should be used against younger guys looking to make a name for themselves. A prospect beating Boestch would help said prospect's career trajectory.
Jacare going from a match booked with Rockhold to this? I don't understand what the point of that is. Risking a Jacare loss for no good reason.

conorand mayweather offered 25mil each by Dana to "box?"
Everyone is either booked for a fight or hurt. Can't generate a respectable income without fighting unless you are the 1%bloodthrust wrote:Jacare going from a match booked with Rockhold to this? I don't understand what the point of that is. Risking a Jacare loss for no good reason.

I'd say your average EB'er has never been in a gym.Codeblue wrote:Does anyone up there (other than rugby) even pump bro?
War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.
The idea that in the modern era of fighting that someone would fix a fight (at least in the US) is crazy as you would 100% lose your license and basically destroy your company.

I don't think the fight was fixed in the WWE sense. I do think Cheal wanted out and when Tito got that arm around his neck, Cheal saw his way out.

I'll allow it.
