What a great close out game performance finish for King James to take the Lakers to the Finals ! It’s been a while, but glad to be back !!
They'll win whoever they got up against. Honestly surprised Miami is 1 game away from meeting them there.

Still feels a bit weird to be cheering on bron bron.
+1. I'm still getting used to it.

I'm surprised how quickly the knives have come out in Clipper land. Paul George is saying it's not championship-or-bust, even though the Clippers gave up draft picks for the next million years to get him, and Kawhi's trainer is calling Montrezl a "double agent" (whatever that means).

I never understand why the "experts" picked the Clippers over the Lakers to begin with? I always felt the Lakers were the favorites entering the season, yet so many said Clippers.

And the knives are fully out. Doc Rivers somehow became the fall guy. One of the best coaches in the league just got fired.

I'm a Lakers fan. I wouldn't necessarily say I thought the Clippers were favorites over the Lakers at the beginning of this season, but between those teams I thought it was an even money bet, mainly because the Clippers got those 2 guys while maintaining a decent part of their nucleus, while the Lakers built up from nothing and a Kuzma.

But I never understood the logic of the Clippers getting two superstars that play the same position and play a similar style. I suppose it all comes down to the fact that Kawhi wanted PG, so the Clippers had to do whatever Kawhi wanted to get Kawhi on board.

And now unless Kawhi and PG resign, they only have 1 more year together while the Lakers will steamroll Miami.

No endorsements for him if he stays, plus he and playoff P could give it more shot before they break it all up, then he should go back to Toronto and retire there ! Feel bad for Doc being let go for all the players not being committed this season, was looking forward to Lakers destroying them lol.

I think Miami wins one game unless James or Davis goes down to injury.

Duh. I think they'd beat the Lakers or at least take it the distance.

I'd guess 4-2 Lakers, but 4-1 wouldn't surprise me. Miami is playing some great ball, and they've gone right through the heart of the east to get where they are. I think Miami's 3 and D is going to give LA problems, and Miami has just enough inside game with Bam and Butler to make LA have to make some hard defensive choices.

The Lakers are still the favorites to win it all again next year IMO. Although if Golden State's healthy next year, I'd LOVE to see that postseason matchup! Congrats on the win!
