It looks like the Nats are going to the White House.
drymounters.
I can't envision Doolittle and Trump in the same room.

And ... Doolittle says he won’t attend. Good for him.

His entire team should support him.

I'm not surprised really. There's too much smoke and controversy surrounding the Astros and how they run their club. There's bound to be fire there.

Boone got screwed out of the Manager of the Year award. I'm not surprised. Yankees don't usually get awards unless it's undeniable, like Aaron Judge in 2017 (and I still say Torres or Andujar should have got it last year over Ohtani).

As non-Yankee fan I agree he should of won Manager this year. Getting 100+ even with his biggest stars all having considerable injury time.

But hey at least Shildt got it (and a contract extension) for the job he did managing a non-star powered Cards to the NLCS.

Orlando Magic co-founder Pat Williams announced his intentions to spearhead an Orlando-area MLB franchise, the Orlando Dreamers. Wonder what type of impact this may have on Tampa and their dream of a new stadium? I'm not sure if Manfred would go for it though because I heard he wanted to get the Rays and A's stadium situation settled before talking expansion.

Because the other teams in Florida are doing so good. Can't see an expansion going there before Nashville / Portland.

no chance MLB expands to Orlando unless Rays relocate there.

I agree with BEN....Florida seems to be a place where teams go to play in front of empty seats. Why give Florida a 3rd franchise when they don't deserve the two they already have.

Miami and Tampa are at the bottom. Tampa made the playoffs too.

Offseason's been more active this year than in the previous 2. Wheeler's a Philly now. Hamels went to Atlanta. Moustakas is in Cincy. Wonder where the big guys will fall (Cole, Strasburg, Rendon)?

There’s way too much to do in Florida than watch a baseball game
