Game over for Bettman and that’s a wrap for the season me thinks ...
Season over?

I laughed.

They should just engrave SARS-CoV-2 for 2020 and move on.

15 out 250 before anything even really started, lol.

At Yardbarker, either they have good sense of humour or are pretty drymounting crazy.

26 NHL players test positive for COVID-19

The NHL is doing fairly well at preventing its players from being diagnosed with the coronavirus, and they proved it Monday by releasing the latest test results.

Luls.

Congrats to Seattle, I guess, but what the drymount is up with the name?

Whats wrong with the name? Against all the others in the NHL? Not anywhere close to the worst among professional sports.

Nothing wrong, per se. Unless I am mistaken, there are only 3 other teams whose name doesn’t end with “s”, ie plural, and they are Wild, Lightning, and Avalanche. Kraken is not something that comes to mind when you think of hockey, even if it’s a Seattle hockey.

Will always be a Wings fan (grew up in MI), but I bought season tickets so I guess I’m a krakhead now too.

Seems the krak puns are going to have infinite runway too. Looking forward to coming out to Seattle and catching a game against the Mild.

Better than Edmonton getting rolled by the Blackhawks

^ To be fair, it’s Edmonton though and is expected.

Surprisingly, not only have I not watched a single game, but haven’t even been checking scores and whatnot on the regular basis. Maybe checked 3 times since they started playing again.

The Toronto / CBJ series was pretty entertaining. The round robin games were meh, not just the Bruins games, you could tell most teams were still using them as get in shape games.

Funny how both 12 seeds made it through with the Canadiens beating the Pens.

Fun starts on Tuesday .... digging the all day calendar like March Madness.

Was watching flyers-canadiens game today with my daughters (6 and almost 3). The game was meh, at best. The first one I attempted to watch since they started playing again. Then my 6-year old says “Daddy, why are we always watching boys’ hockey?” How do you even answer this? Definitely threw me off the rails. Damn...

That would be a tough convo to have ... but at least when women's hockey is on, the Canadian and US ladies have some great battles.

Overall, I could get really used to watching hockey all day long while working from home.

I don’t know. Like I said to someone just the other day, for the first time in my life, I am not that interested. Kind of weird, really. Just looked and Caps are gone, Flames are gone. I guess I will “cheer” for Montreal and Canucks in the background. Regardless of who wins, it doesn’t count in my books, lol.
