I wonder if this thread title will ever change. Been a few years now...
they made the play-offs and won a game so the ship is going in the right direction so... it's a start

why is Melvin Gordon being such a butt nugget ? I know it's not the biggest loss for the Bolts but, damn the injury bug is back and his hold out still hurts the team despite going 4-0 last year without him. Oh well, this year looks like it can go real bad real fast - no starting all pro Safety derwin james and no starting left tackle russell okung for at least half the season. go bolts... womp womp...... they still make the playoffs though at 10-6

The optics of the Zeke dealings is definitely influencing him, all for someone getting the money (Guaranteed money) but his position is one of the most volatile. Gordon unlike Zeke, isn't the engine that runs the Chargers though.

Chargers almost Chargered on Sunday. Nice to see them pull out a good win against a solid Colts team.

I always considered Rivers to be a bit of a gunslinger....the kind on QB who can make any throw and sometimes tries to make throws when they are inadvisable. Favre was the perfect example. Jay Cutler was an example of one who really didn't seem to care if he won or lost. Gunslingers tend not to win a Super Bowl because they have one let down game during the playoffs...one critical mistake. Favre won one but I wonder how many Montana would have won with those GB teams. Can Rivers put together 3-4 good/great games in a row in the playoffs?

Avg QB / All Pro RB & WR / Great Defense - I'm not following - just because the colts don't have Luck doesn't make them a bad team

Which is more disappointing this season, the Chargers or Browns?

After last week's loss against the Broncos at home I'm gonna say the Bolts are more disappointing. Rivers with a 4.4 yards per attempt with 2 ints was almost as dreadful as the defense surrendering 191 yards on the ground.

It can't be Rivers fault. He's elite.
