I've got someone sending a different shipping address in messages - that's a no no right?

sellers must ship to the listed eBay Address?

Yeah if you ship somewhere else you are asking for problems. I think you will lose all protections.

Listed my damaged Rochester TOOL Granov eBay 296037197036#shameplug and found out buy it now doesn't disappear after bids are placed anymore. Another questionable change that effectively caps the sale price.

It’s been this way since as long as I can remember. Unless I remember wrong, of course.

Ok, I somehow read your original post the other way around (ie it disappears), lol. Yeah, that sure sucks then.

well, having it disappear based solely on a single bid also seems like a waste of time

if fleabay was out to do things right, it should disappear once a floor was met

I'm sure the AI told them more money could be made in fees

never used this style of listing
always seemed like sellers dragging hooks

ebay international shipping repackage several of my shipments when it was sent to one of their US hubs.....including removing one from the tube and throwing a loose poster in a triangle.

Not recommended.

This is not new, but I didn't think they actually did anything with prints. That sounds pretty harsh. At least eBay will refund your buyer and you keep the money too.

I looked for a few minutes but can't find it, there was a pretty interesting blog some years ago about a guys experience with GSP. He bought out every single Lego set of a particular model in the country. He did so by hiring a phone bank to call every toy store and check for inventory, then hired people in each place to pick up the sets and send them to him. He had rock solid perfect packaging and he uncovered the entire GSP repacking process because his customers kept getting damaged collectors item Lego sets

Another ebay international issue recently.

I sent two posters in one tube and the customer said they only received one poster. So, I refunded them for the missing poster. Then I received an email from the same customer a couple of days later, saying they received the other poster seperately.
