Irritating, yes but best to just cancel and move on IMO. I've had it happen a couple times with differing excuses. I just relisted and sold to someone who wasn't a donkey.

More irritating is buying something and having the seller cancel.

been on both ends. had to cancel something (after a bid came through) because it had sold in FB group.

That I understand. The most recent cancelation I had the seller found a small tear. I asked for photos and said I would likely go through with the transaction anyway without asking for a reduction in price. She cancelled anyway. I left her negative feedback.

Purchased the most recent Obey letterpress off of ebay and of course it's gorilla gripped. Seller says he shipped it without opening it when it clearly was re-rolled and taped.

1.) Wish obey would go back to shipping flat
2.) I was going to wait and see if I could adequately flatten, but part of me just wants to annoy the seller for his failed flip.

anyone know how to insure if shipped via "ebay international standard delivery"? i think it's the renamed GSP where u ship domestic to KY and they handle the international portion. however, i don't think you can purchase insurance for it... and 3rd party insurers (like shipsaver.com) don't insure the "ebay send" (ESXXXXX) tracking numbers.

I don't think it's the same as the gsp but I could be wrong. I've been using gsp for years and still just insure it via USPS since once it hits their center I'm off the hook. I haven't seen any different tracking numbers than usual from my international sales the past few weeks.

All that said, I'm not sure how to insure them if a third party won't and ebay won't provide their usual shipcover option.

Had a seller cancel an auction for a <$10 card stating that his printer broke and he won't be able to replace it for a week.

Ok, so ship it in a week. Or go to the PO.
