PayPal charge back is the GD worst one to deal with. Now that eBay has payments in house if you get one through them they will cover you if it shows delivered so that's nice.

PayPal offers the same protection with chargebacks. Had it happen selling an IPad, I posted the story on this thread a few years ago. Long story short a lady was getting finessed by a Russian dude to get items shipped to her that were paid for with a stolen credit card and then she would forward said merch to him in Russia.

I had tracking and sig confirmation so PayPal covered me and I kept the money for the IPad. Was super easy! Fast forward a couple months later an a post master knocks on my door and hands me a box with the iPad I had sold. Guess they recovered a lot of items in the ladies apt and were giving them back to the sellers.

So I sold the same IPad twice on Ebay.

This seems a little different. My buyer's credit card wasn't stolen, he intended to purchase this. if he goes to his credit card company saying 'i bought this item and never got it' then they chargeback paypal. Seems like ygolohcysp has had issues with this before.

We are assuming he used a decent credit card to purchase the item. i don't know where the funds originated from, I just know the box of money is still missing today.

He started a claim with UPS.. used some stronger words than I would have but also had a lot of detail and I didn't have to type it out. the saga continues

Yes if you're dealing with a single purchase person and not a scammer PayPal charge back is likely not to fall in your favor. I've had multiple experiences over the years and they're impossible to argue with.

In your case Zeus I think your outcome will be positive, especially since the buyer is dealing directly with UPS. This is 100% on them and you just need to push to make them come through.

Are the Fed Ex locations near y'all nosey as hell about what you're shipping? I only use Fed Ex when I'm forced to return something that was shipped through them and every drymounting time they ask me what is in the box. It really irritates me

Not art or eBay but just had someone at me company send a computer to the wrong address. Resident signed for it but now claims to not know about the package.

I filed a police report. Maybe someone in Zeus’ transaction needs to do the same. Mailroom does not work for a signature. Who ever signed for it can answer for it

It appeared! Dude was kind enough to the UPS driver who somehow 'found it in the warehouse' and brought it over.
Also seems like UPS packed it just fine. phew
Satisfied buyer and now i just need to send the CoA separate.

So relieved! no search warrants needed. And I agree, mailroom does not work for a signature.

Does anyone know how to change your city in the address section of a listing?

Thanks…
