 Glad to help! You and he won't regret it!

Most definitely the right call. Well done!

Had my best shot at a Mr. Gold today...

I checked my local Chapters Book store online inventory last night and it showed 120 minifigs in stock at my store. I went in this morning and the lady at the counter said she hadn`t seen them but she kindly went out back and returned with 2 minty sealed boxes of 60. You can imagine my excitement but alas he was nowhere to be found.

Ah well. There are worse things than not being able to find a rare minifigure I suppose.

Agreed.

Having said that. I'm not entirely sure I would sell a Mr. Gold if I found him.

Which is almost just as bad. but keeping him safe in a case and admiring him for years to come will go a lot further than $600. Not to mention his value could in fact RISE when this is all said and done. I doubt it but who knows.

Good luck. It's basically impossible with so many people trying to make a quick buck now. Store employees as well. It's a shame really.

Also, I heard another number today that indicated there was only 1 Mr. Gold per every 46 cases of minifigures. :hanging:

I heard it was even higher than that, more like 1 per 60+ boxes...

And I keep hearing the same deal about employees in the stockroom raiding boxes before they hit the shelf. Maybe I should get a night job at Target for stocking... (considered it before, no lie!)

After about 20 minutes, I could feel the pack without making much noise. Really stealth.
